The Singing Shell: An immersive live music and theatre experience for Reception & Year 1
Sing • Move • Imagine • Explore • Care for our oceans
Children become Ocean Explorers as they meet sailors, mermaids and sea creatures, with live singing, piano, colourful scenery, sensory props and plenty of opportunities to join in! The interactive performance supports learning across the EYFS and KS1 curriculum including Music, Expressive Arts & Design and Communication & Language, while complementing topics such as Under the Sea and The Environment and Sustainability.
Musical Theatre Discovery: An interactive workshop for Year 2 - 6
Drama • Stagecraft • Singing • Song writing • Self expression
Children will step into the world of musical theatre by performing music from a well-loved musical, while exploring character and stagecraft. Through fun vocal and breathing exercises, movement and creative song writing, they’ll develop confidence and teamwork skills, and discover how music, words and movement come together to tell a story.
Sessions are adapted to suit the age and experience of each group, from introductory Year 2 sessions through to more developed workshops for KS2.
